• Acted on behalf of ship’s Flag State Authority to investigate the Casualty (loss of lives) of Ship’s Staff due to an incident while carrying out maintenance work in cargo tank during vessel’s sea passage.
• Acted on behalf of ship’s Flag State Authority to investigate the incident of collision and subsequent massive fire on board a tanker and resulting pollution in the approach channel of Port.
• Attended on behalf of P&I Association to investigate the incident and note, verify and record the extent of damage to the vessel and containers, due to incident of the collapse of spreader beam of Port shore gantry crane.
• Acted on behalf of P&I Association to witness underwater video inspection of vessel’s hull due to an incident of grounding whilst alongside at Iraq port.
• Attended on behalf of Cargo Receivers to note, verify and record the condition and ascertain the extent of damages to bulk consignments due to water ingress to the ship’s cargo holds and monitor the discharge of damaged cargo.
• Acted on behalf of P&I Association to note, verify and record damages to the vessel’s inboard plating of water ballast tanks due to a collision and witness their permanent repairs by a local workshop.
• Acted on behalf of P&I Association to ascertain the extent of damage to the container and ship’s structures due to an incident of fall of empty container during discharging by shore gantry.
• Acted on behalf of P&I Association to witness the unsealing / resealing of cargo holds and sampling of cargo carried out by Receivers due to suspected water damage to the grain cargo during vessel’s voyage.
• Acted on behalf of Cargo Receivers / Consignee to conduct a discharge survey of Liquid Coal Tar Pitch in bulk to note, verify and record the quantity discharged from the vessel.
• Acted on behalf of vessel’s Charterers to investigate the cause, nature and extent of damage to ship’s gangway due to an incident of contact with shore gantry crane during the cargo discharging operations.
• Acted on behalf of P&I Association of vessel Charterers to note, verify and record various structural damages alleged by the vessel due to incident of loss of containers at sea and to witness their repairs as per Class recommendations.
• Acted on behalf of Cargo Underwriters to carry out a discharge survey of grain cargo to determine quantity discharged from the vessel and ascertain the cause, nature and extent of damage to the grain cargo in ship’s cargo holds and liaise with potential buyers to assist in salvage sale of damaged cargo.
• Acted on behalf of Cargo Receiver / Underwriters to ascertain the cause, nature and extent of water damage alleged to the part consignment of Carbon Anodes.
• Acted on behalf of P&I Association to note, verify and record the damages to deck cargo of Motor Yacht and verify / record the repairs carried out to the motor yacht by receivers.
• Acted on behalf of Flag State Authority (Transport Malta) to investigate the loss of life of crew member, while working in ship’s cargo hold at sea during the voyage.
• Acted on behalf of various P&I Associations to ascertain the cause, nature and extent of damages alleged to different consignments of Steel Products.
• Acted on behalf of ship’s P&I Association to ascertain the extent of damage to Forest Products in vessel’s cargo holds due to negligent handling of forklifts by the stevedores.
• Acted on behalf of the ship’s P&I Association to ascertain damages to the own / other vessel due to an incident of collision during offshore STS operation.
• Acted on behalf of Transport Malta (Malta Maritime Authority) to carry out Flag Safety Inspections of the vessels at UAE ports.
• Acted on behalf of prospective buyers to conduct Pre-purchase condition surveys of a variety of vessels.
• Acted on behalf of the ship’s P&I Association to ascertain the pre-loading condition of Steel cargo at the time of loading on board and to advise the Master to suitably clause the Mate’s Receipts and Bills of Lading.
• Acted on behalf of the vessel Charterers to carry out On Hire and Off Hire Condition and Bunker surveys of Container Carriers at the time of Delivery / Re-delivery from the Owners, and to note and verify damages sustained by the vessel during the charter period.
• Acted on behalf of the P&I Association to witness underwater video inspection of hull of the member vessel in note and record damages due to an incident of grounding at an Iraqi port.
• Acted on behalf of the P&I Association to carry out a discharge survey of all the reefer / dry containers with perishable cargoes, to ascertain the condition of their contents.
• Attended on behalf of Cargo Underwriters to note, verify and record the general condition of the cargo of Steel Re-Bars on board the vessel and to estimate the cargo on board by conducting a deadweight survey.
• Acted on behalf of the vessel Charterers to ascertain cause, nature and extent of leakage of Bitumen from several containers on board the vessel during her voyage and to monitor the cleaning of spilled contents in the cargo holds.
• Acted on behalf of the P&I Association to investigate the circumstances leading to the incident of collision with other vessel during manoeuvring in the port and ascertain the extent of damage sustained to the Member’s vessel and to carry out a detailed inspection of the containers fallen / retrieved from the harbour water.
• Attended on behalf of Cargo Underwriters to ascertain the cause, nature and extent of damage to the air cargo of imported Fresh Chilled Meat products.
• Acted on behalf of the P&I Association to note, verify and record the damages to a Motor Yacht on board the vessel prior to discharge and subsequently to monitor / witness the repairs at the docking facilities.
• Acted on behalf of the P&I Association to ascertain pre-shipment condition of cargo of Bagged Sugar at the time of loading and advise / assist the Master regarding exceptions noted to the cargo, in order to suitably clause the Mate’s Receipts and Bills of Lading.
• Acted on behalf of Honourable Court, to submit an independent expert opinion on an investigation into temperatures maintained in Refrigerated container.
• Acted on behalf of the P&I Associations of the Container Operators to ascertain the extent of damages to various consignments of Fresh Fruits in Reefer Containers.
• Acted on behalf of Charterers to witness the underwater video inspection of the vessel's hull to verify and record the damages allegedly caused due an incident of grounding of the vessel in her previous voyage.
• Complied an Expert Opinion regarding the cause of sinking of a vessel at sea for the purpose of Honourable Court.
• Acted on behalf of vessel's P&I Association to conduct Preload inspection of Steel Products.
• Preloading condition survey of 24000 MT of White Refined Bagged Sugar cargo, earlier rejected from Iraq and landed at Dubai.
• Acted on behalf of ship’s P&I Club to deal with threat of arrest of a reefer vessel with full load of 5250 MT of Chinese White Garlic alleged to be damaged due to improper carriage temperature during the voyage.
• Attended on board on behalf of vessel's P&I Association to ascertain condition of cargo and carriage temperatures during the voyage. Monitor discharge operations and verify condition of cargo from various reefer compartments. Subsequently assisted the appointed solicitors during the court proceedings on Consignee's claim.
• Preloading inspection of about 4000 MT of Steel Pipes.
• Investigate an incident of fire in ship's accommodation during Hot work repairs at Dubai.
• Transfer of heavy lifts (460 MT) Reactor from one vessel to another whilst afloat and alongside each other.
• Acted on behalf of ship’s P&I Club for a Project cargo of Asphalt Plant damaged during carriage on board due to heavy weather experienced by the vessel during passage to Dubai.
• Investigate an incident of Fire damage to the ship’s accommodation, occurred during hot-work repairs / refurbishment at Dubai Port.
• Investigate extensive damages and collapse of stow of Cable Drums due to heavy weather encountered by the vessel on behalf of P&I Club.
• Acted on behalf of ship’s P&I Clubs on incidents of pollution of harbour due to Fuel Oil overflow during bunkering operations.
• Investigate Heavy weather shifting / collapse of Forest Products and Steel cargo during vessel's voyage to the Arabian Gulf.
• Investigate a potential claim of 1.4 Million US Dollars on Steel Rebars due to corrosion damage on arrival at destination.
• Acted on behalf of Cargo Interests to note, verify and record the general condition of heavy steel pipes, prior to and subsequent to discharge from the vessel and whilst lying in the receivers storage yard.
• Acted on behalf of Shippers to note, verify and record the general condition of the steel pipes bundles, prior to discharge from the vessel and monitor unbundling and during the loading operations and stowage on board the vessel for onward carriage to the final destination.
• Acted on behalf of property (non-marine) underwriters to ascertain the extent of loss and note, verify and record the damages sustained to the access roads of overhead transmission / distribution towers and lines in hilly terrains, due to cloud-burst and heavy rain / storm.
• Acted on behalf of Receivers to note, verify and record the lashing and securing of Project cargo packages of Hydraulic Horse (Underwater Pipe Layer / Installer) and Accessories upon return after Project completion, prior to and during the discharge operations and subsequently witness their operational condition at Receiver’s premises.
• Acted on behalf of Shippers / their underwriters to carry out the Outturn Control (Tally) and note, verify and record the general condition of bagged White Refined Sugar, prior to and during discharge from the vessel.
• Acted on behalf of Shippers to note, verify and record the condition of the Seamless Casings / OCTG and project cargo during the discharge operations at port facility and at the time of delivery to the Receivers / End Users.
